TIME TO CHANGE JOURNALS. Here is my massive post-anthrocon report.

Prologue
--------------------------------------

So I flew in to 's house since I was to ride to Pittsburgh in their van. Awesome times were had, even if only for an evening. Thankfully the trip to Pittsburgh was uneventful. Except maybe for Gary, Indiana being the WORST FUCKING CITY EVER. We had black people yell at us "y'all can't do dat. I though y'all was da poh-leece!" and there was nowhere to pee. But we made it eventually. We arrived on Thursday.

Day One (Thursday)

Upon arriving in Pittsburgh, I met up with Seppel and company to wait in line. 2 hours of brisk waiting later, I was registered for the convention. After registering, I parted ways and met up with , , , , and Pr0stsh0cker. Later we met up with Jynxed and Zeriara and went to the rave, where we partied hard and Pr0stsh0cker took out a fursuiter. Then we went back to our rooms and crashed.

Day Two (Friday)

I woke up and helped , Langly, and go to the Artist Alley. There I met up with , , and again. Between 12 and 5 I just ran around helping out my Artist Alley friends by fetching them things and whatnot. After the Artist Alley was over, I helped bring stuff back to my room and then went to hang out with people in the Zoo. Went out to eat with and company at the Steel City Diner. I had spaghetti and talked with Pr0stsh0cker about Red Alert 2 and Team Fortress 2. It was pretty uneventful after that, except maybe playing styrofoam cup hackeysack with Pr0stsh0cker, Renard_V, RudeTheFox, and a few other people. Oh and I met there while wandering around. Was nice seeing her again.

Day Three (Saturday)

The most epic day of the con by far. I woke up around 10 AM and went to the Artist Alley to find out the and Pr0stsh0cker had joined the others in a massive table of awesome. Fun times with Bawls and prints and $1 badges were had by all. We also bid on Art Show pieces. Me and got into a bid war over the original of Dreamsong and ended up pushing it to auction. I also went and watched the worst porno ever with Seppel. After the Alley ended, I went with people to hang out at the Zoo. We later found out that Pr0stsh0cker had gotten completely hammered at a room party, and that and Lupinator were with him. We found this out because a drunk Lupinator came and told about stuff in wild conversation tangents and Pr0stsh0cker tackled me going "this guy is fucking awesome." We ended up going back to Clawed's and Sapphire's hotel room to help take care of a wildly vomiting Pr0stsh0cker as the alcohol wore off. As soon as he'd fallen asleep, I took off for my own room and slept.

Day Four (Sunday)
--------------------------------------

Woke up and went back to the room to check up on a a hung over Pr0stsh0cker. After he'd woken up and cleaned up, , him, and I went to the Art Show. There won a few items, and then we went to voice auction. I ended up winning 3 pieces at the voice auction, including Dreamsong. After the voice auction, we hooked up with , , and to go hang out and do cool things. We wandered around town looking for sushi but ended up just eating at Steel City Diner after wandering around most of the city while it was raining. After dinner we hung out in the Zoo until about 12:00 AM Monday. We then went to Jynxed's room and hung there calling everything a "murr". Afterwards, we went to Clawed's hotel room and tried to watch Godzilla vs Space Godzilla but everyone ended up falling asleep. I also mumbled in my sleep and it was apparently hilarious. So at about 3:00 AM Monday I said my sad goodbyes and went back to my room to sleep.

Epilogue
--------------------------------------

Our car broke down on the way home and we spent 8 hours in the middle of Buttfuck Nowhere, Ohio. We ended up making it home on Tuesday instead of Monday because of the lag. We also had to take a much, much smaller van back home which was incredibly cramped. It was a hellish trip back and the delay ended up forcing me to change my flight.

- Thanks for making my AnthroCon trip completely awesome. You were great to hang around, very sweet, and I'm absolutely overjoyed that I got to meet you and hang with you. Easily the best parts of my trip were chilling out with you, talking and being goofy about the dumbest things. Also, I heard you are a potato fanatic

- You are huge amounts of awesome. It was lots of fun hanging out with you at the con. Maybe sometime I'll visit NYC and you can show me the sights (IE: comic book shops).

Pr0stsh0cker - Sup cool dude. You were lots of fun to talk to and a lot more outgoing than last year. Excellent times were had hanging out with you.

- You are an awesome kitty. Didn't hang out much at the con but since I rode with you, I'm writing this in your house. Much <3 is had for you and everyone else here for being some of the nicest people I know.

- You are one of the nicest people I have ever met. I'm sorry I had to outbid you on Dreamsong You were always super-nice and helpful and friendly, even though you'd only ever met me on Thursday. There are no words to describe how awesome you are.

- You are SO SHORT. But you are funny and nice and made me a sexy fruit badge that is excellent. Was so much fun hanging out with you. PS: oh murr.

- It was great to see you again. You were SO BALD. It's too bad we couldn't spend more time together at the con.

LeeLee - I only saw you on Saturday, but you were very cool to me. You also complimented my jewelry designs, and coming from such a good artist, that's very uplifting. Very relaxed and awesome you are.

Jynxed - You were many shades of awesome. You make the best faces and talk about the silliest things. Was so glad you hung out with us at the con.

If I missed anyone, I'm sorry, I'm really mentally and emotionally drained from my hellish ride back. I just want to say that you all made my trip completely amazing instead of merely average. Everyone that was mentioned and people that weren't, you are all absolutely incredible and made me want to never leave. Can't wait for AC09 now. GG.

TL;DR version: Fucking amazing con. Must go back. Must also visit people I got to meet sooner than AC09.
